JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Qualification:
Experience: Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in the field of medical aesthetics, demonstrating proficiency in administering skincare treatments and procedures.
Certification: Candidates must hold a valid Medical Aesthetician Certificate from an accredited institution or program. This certification verifies that candidates have completed formal training in medical aesthetics and have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to perform advanced skincare treatments safely and effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Below are the tasks as required by the job;
- Perform medical skincare services: Candidates will be responsible for delivering a variety of medical skincare treatments and procedures to clients, including facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, and other advanced skincare services.
- Welcoming clients and explaining the list of services and products offered.
- Candidates will be expected to offer incentives or promotions to clients as a means of encouraging repeat business and fostering client loyalty.
- Candidates should actively participate in continuing education programs and attend regular staff meetings to stay updated on the latest advancements in medical skincare techniques, technologies, and products.
- Candidates will be responsible for promoting and selling additional skincare products and services to clients in a professional and non-intrusive manner.
- Candidates will provide clients with detailed explanations of how each skincare service will impact their skin, including potential benefits, risks, and expected outcomes, all while offering personalised services.
REQUIRED SKILLS
The following are the necessary technical and interpersonal skills required when applying for this role.
Technical Skills:
Theoretical knowledge and practical experience: Candidates must possess both theoretical understanding and practical experience in a range of advanced skincare treatments and procedures, including laser hair removal, SculpSure body contouring, Microneedling, PicoSure laser treatments, Thermage skin tightening, Ulthera ultrasound therapy, and client consultations.
Use of Plasma equipment: Candidates with experience in using Plasma equipment, such as plasma pens or devices for non-surgical skin tightening and rejuvenation treatments, are preferred.
Upselling Skills: Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to upsell additional services or products to existing clients, effectively communicating the benefits and value of supplementary treatments or skincare products.
Interpersonal Skills:
High level of professionalism: Candidates must exhibit a high level of professionalism and attention to personal presentation, adhering to industry standards for appearance and grooming.
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills: Candidates must possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills, allowing them to build rapport with clients, listen attentively to their concerns, and effectively convey information about treatments, procedures, and skincare products.
Excellent oral skills: Candidates should demonstrate clear and articulate oral communication skills, enabling them to convey information accurately and effectively to clients and colleagues.
Language: Proficiency in both English and French languages is advantageous.
SCHEDULE
The candidate will be expected to work Monday to Friday during regular business hours, with flexibility to accommodate weekend shifts as required by the business needs.
