JOB DESCRIPTION

At Hospitality Inn Hotel, the Housekeeping Attendant plays a important role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a comfortable environment for guests. You are responsible for meticulously cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, and restocking amenities. You must adhere to strict safety and hygiene standards to uphold a clean and safe environment for guests and staff alike. RESPONSIBILITIES

Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors: Ensure all floors are kept clean and presentable by performing regular sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing as needed.
Dust furniture: Regularly remove dust from furniture surfaces to maintain cleanliness and appearance throughout the hotel.
Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture: Keep carpeted areas, rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture clean and free of debris by thorough vacuuming.

Make beds and change sheets: Ensure guest rooms are fresh and inviting by making beds with clean linens and replacing used sheets as needed.
Distribute clean towels and toiletries: Restock guest rooms with fresh towels and toiletries to ensure guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Stock linen closet: Keep linen closets well-stocked with clean linens, towels, and other supplies to ensure efficient room turnover.

Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances: Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards by regularly cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.

Clean and disinfect elevators: Ensure elevators are kept clean and hygienic by regularly cleaning and disinfecting surfaces.

Handle and report lost and found items: Assist guests in retrieving lost items and report any found items according to hotel procedures.
Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items: Promptly fulfill guest requests for additional supplies or items to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.

Provide basic information on facilities: Assist guests by providing information about hotel facilities, services, and amenities.

Pick up debris and empty trash containers: Maintain cleanliness in public areas by promptly picking up debris and emptying trash containers.

Address customers’ complaints or concerns: Listen to and address any complaints or concerns raised by guests, striving to resolve issues promptly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.

WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES
